28 Apr 2008 - NEW READING CHALLENGE STARTS TODAY!

Your new READING CHALLENGE starts today! The easter reading challenge was very successful with many children earning an easter egg for their hard work.

A BIG THANK YOU to Mr Burden and the children who designed our new reading challenge chart!

Remember to get a sticker on your reading challenge you must do one of the following every day:

* practice your letter sounds/key words

* read a book to your grown up (this can be a school reading book or one of your own books)

* read a comic or magazine with your grown up

* Share a book together, maybe at bedtime.

Grown ups must date and sign your white reading record book every time you complete the reading challenge so that school can put a sticker on your chart.

Children who have collected all the reading challenge stickers will receive a special gift at the end of the Summer term!
