Mrs Barteckzo's blog from Gambia has been a huge success!
The children have loved reading the messages and have been sending questions to find out more information each day. It is nice for both staff and children to have contact with Mrs Barteckzo whilst she is in Gambia and it has been a great stimulus for learning. The children have been really interested in finding out what Gambia and the children are like at Jabang school. It has made the whole school feel like they have been a part of Mrs Barteckzo's experiences in Gambia.
We hope that it may be possible to continue the blog with staff and children at the Jabang school to further strengthen our links and develop our relationships with Gambia.
We wish Mrs Barteckzo a safe journey home and we look forward to seeing her at school on Tuesday.
