The school opens its doors at 8.50am each day in order to allow the children to come in and settle down for a prompt 9.00am start.
School finishes each day at 3.00pm when the children can be collected from their classrooms.
During the day, the children have one hour for lunch and a morning and afternoon playtime.
The school provides free milk to children who are under five. After this, milk is available to the children at a nominal charge.
We also participate in a free fruit programme which provides a range of fruit to encourage children to eat healthily.
Children are also encouraged to bring a water bottle to school each day to ensure they remain hydrated and healthy.

We have a very positive approach to behaviour issues while ensuring the children realise they are responsible for their own actions and know the consequences of poor behaviour. We are consistent and fair at all times and believe in rewarding achievement, effort and appropriate attitudes.
We welcome parents into school in many different capacities. Teachers are always available for appointments to discuss any worries or concerns you may have. We encourage an open and friendly relationship between home and school as we believe this benefits the children.
We also welcome parents into school during the school day to support the work we do. Many parents participate in our reading support programmes, undertake art and technology support or help to develop new areas of the school such as our library.
If you think you may have any time available to come into school please see your child's class teacher.
